Keen to give it a go!

Hi all,
I'm new here and new to the world of long driving. I'm keen to get up to Bendigo in a couple of weeks and give it a go. I have no idea of my swing speed and currently use a standard driver, which I am slowly beating to death at the driving range. Are there specialist clubs avaiable to try on the day, with a mind to buying one or two? Also, how do I register for the event?

Gday Jeff, the best way to get into long drive is to come have a go. They have an amateur division for anyone to have a go with there standard driver to get involved an get a feel for the sport. There will be plenty of drivers floating around for you to try and most of the guys are pretty good an will let you try theirs if Jason Jason is a nice bloke (organiser of LEA) doesn't have one that u need, Jason also builds clubs. After havin a hit in amateurs u can go in the opens with one of the borrowed clubs. It's definitely worth a go! Goodluck an hope to c u there
